I've decided to create a single thread for whenever an update is posted on the Kickstarter page. So, without further ado...



UPDATE 41: COMMUNI-DAY

This is more or less just another fan art showcase, but it's nice to see what the Beckers are coming up with. Also nice to see some nods to WayForward Technologies' Mighty series (because who wouldn't want to see a MN9/Shantae crossover?).

Fan art is nice, but I just wish we have more info about the game. It's been a month since the Alpha 2 update and still nothing more about the game.

Found the podcast with Dina kinda akward.

She was cautios and didnt realy said much.



Also the questions they took from the forums where meh,  wanting to know what devs do in there daily lives ? seriously?

I hope the podcast get more informative and talk abouth talents, powers, calls, suport droids etc etc etc.

Oh boy I forgot to come here for a while. Sorry for the lack of update folks. Here's what happened since the last update:

To be somewhat blunt and honest, when I read that she was in the podcast I just dropped my intention of listening to the podcast right then and there.  Not that I have any really big issues with her, but I most certainly wouldn't want "put a voice" to the person who I don't think should be there to begin with.  It's bad enough I know how she looks.  The less I know about her, the easier it is to distance myself from her and keep things very professional.



And reading the transcript of the podcast, I agree that the questions weren't great to begin with anyway.

*GASP!* An actual update that we can actually care about!!



For those who aren't aware of it, here is a trailer they showed at the Game Developers Conference:



So it is good to see that these guys still know how to make a game.  It's shame that the official forums are still being treated as an afterthought.

Actually what was the point of the forums if they are publishing game related information to the media first? It sure isn't exclusive access. A pub?

Yes, they actually wasted an update for April Fools' joke. Apples are fine, but making it into a whole update is not.

...Is it bad that I kind of want to see the Apple make it into the game as sort of a Easter egg type of thing? Like maybe he's just a silly boss that appears after doing something. :V

Call me crazy, paranoid or a "conspiracy theorist" here, but my guess is they suckered people in to opening up their wallets with the empty promises of a decent forum and actual backer involvement.

I know it was just a joke and it sounds like I'm overreacting when I say this, but I agree.  It's fine to have fun and play around with the community, but given the circumstances that there's very little updates and backer involvement, hiding the joke in an "update" was a bad choice in my opinion.  I'm sure I'm not the only one who was ever so slightly annoyed by the joke.

Some new boss/stage music would have been nice for a update.

Or a call in game model screenshot.



Altho I agree backer involvment should be great, it is just realy hard when evryone has there own idea and opinions in how the game should be.

I think Inafume said it in a panel/interview, that lisening to the fans directly isnt the way things should be done but by people collecting the information and package them in a way to be researched.
